Sunday School Lessons for February

The month of February looks at the theme "Good News for Changing Times". Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM with literature available for all ages. This month during each Sunday School session a lesson in Black History will be presented. So whether you know them all and desire a challenge or know nothing and want to learn Sunday School is the place to be. This is the lesson outline for February:

February 7 "Showing Honor, Living Honorably"
Purpose: to understand that following Jesus includes showing respect for civil authority while maintaining our Christian values. Bible Lesson: Romans 13

February 14 "Sharing Community"
Purpose: to consider how extending love in the Christian community prepares us for celebration of the Lord's Supper. Bible Lesson: I Corinthians 11:20-34

February 21 "Reconciling The World"
Purpose: to inspire us to become ambassadors for Christ in order to extend his ministry of reconciliation
Bible Lesson: II Corinthians 5:11-21

February 28 "Confident Hope"
Purpose: to encourage us to worship and serve in confidence that God's gift of hope will sustain us
Bible Lesson: Titus 2:11-14; Hebrews 12: 26-29; Revelation 1:17-20; 11:15
